Jo - Prior Authorization Specialist

Johanna, Jo for short, is our Prior Authorization Specialist in the office. She works alongside our biller to check insurance eligibility and benefits and to ensure any authorizations are done ahead of time for patient visits, imaging studies, and medical supplies. Her favorite part of the job is that she is able to provide direct support to our patients when answering phone calls. She also assists our Patient Care Coordinators with appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, and appointment preparation. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, running, and playing her guitar.
